Daniel Pallarés Domínguez

PhD, Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher

Daniel Pallarés-Domínguez, postdoctoral researcher and a part-time professor in the Department of Philosophy and Sociology at Universitat Jaume I de Castellón. He joined CRB in January 2018 and is part of CRB’s Neuorethics and Neurophilosophy research team. His Master in Ethics and Democracy (2012) presents a critical approach to the treatment of emotions in Neuroethic. The doctoral project focused on studying the framework of the relation between neuroscience and social sciences, particularly from neuroethics and neuroeducation.  Daniel Pallarés-Domínguez, holds one BA in Humanities (Universitat Jaume I) and another in Pedagogy of the piano (Conservatorio Superior de Música Salvador Seguí). He received his PhD on the Neuroethical bases for moral education: dialogue- and practice-based neurorationality in Moral Philosophy from Universitat Jaume I. in 2016. The thesis won a PhD extraordinary prize in 2017 and was qualified Excellent Cum Laude by an international Thesis Committee. As a PhD student, has did research stays  the Centre for Research Ethics & Bioethics of Uppsala University (Sweden) and Centro de Investigaciones Filosóficas de Buenos Aires (Argentina).
